Jovan Jovica Jakovac, General Manager at NLB d.d. - Group Real Estate Asset Management
Mr. Jakovac has over 20 years of experience in corporate and government environments with expertise in real estate, project and asset management, finance and negotiations, operations and staff management.
Since April 2015 he joined NLB d.d. Financial Management as Group Real Estate Asset Management Director and currently lives and operates from Ljubljana, Slovenia.
As Managing Director in Colliers Serbia (2005-2010), Mr. Jakovac was in charge of operations, finance and staff management. In 2007, Mr. Jakovac was voted as Colliers’ SEE manager of the year. Mr. Jakovac was involved in all major transactions done by Colliers on Serbian, Bosnian and Montenegrin markets, overseeing projects worth over 1 billion euro. While introducing a new business services to the Serbian real estate market, Mr. Jakovac was many times panelist at MIPIM, Real Vienna and Expo Real in Munich and all real estate conferences in Serbia, actively representing Serbian market and promoting investments in SEE.
He founded Solidity Real Estate in 2010 which he operated until the end of 2014.
Furthermore, Mr. Jakovac was Head of Business Development and Sales for Engle East Europe actively involved in companies operations in Serbia and Hungary. From 2013 until moving to Ljubljana in 2015, Mr. Jakovac has served as Member Board of Trustees and Steering Committee at 400 million euro Project Implementation Unit (JUP).
