Mr. Anton Kožar (born 1959) passed the Faculty of Economics in Slovenia in 1993, obtained a Master of Science degree in 1991. He passed other education courses in IMF nad Wharton. He has worked in the National Bank of Slovenia in the Research Department for 13 years; at the end as a Deputy Director 1994-1997. His focus was particularly on financial programing and exchange rate policy, including econometric work. A.Kožar was a general manager in the  Pension-Investment Fund with the 0.7 billion € portfolio in the period 1997-2000, a state-owned Fund.
He has been a Director of Real Estate Association of Slovenia in the  period 2002-2007. He established a Real Estate Institute Ltd, Ljubljana in 2007. Till then he manages its own company. He has been a member of FIABCI since 2002, running a presidency in 2004-2008.
Anton K. has published around 40 articles in domestic and international magazines.
Anton Kožar holds a Certificate of Real Estate Valuer (CREV) since 2007 and it is expected to earn the Certificate of TEGOVA in 2016.   Anton Kožar is haviely involved in the research of real estate market in Slovenia. His RE Institute prepared the quantitative platform for reform of residential market in Slovenia in 2015. That research will be the framework for reform that is being prepared in 2016 – a new Housing law.
