Vladislav Lalić, Regional Property & Expansion Manager, IKEA, SEE region

Vladislav Lalic started his career in IKEA Yugoslavia in 1991. After the IKEA operations in this region stopped in 1992, he continued his career in Romania and Slovenia, where he spent 9 years on various positions in the purchasing department and developing the network of IKEA’s suppliers.
From 2001-2005, Vladislav was holding the position of Regional Purchasing Manager in IKEA Turkey, where he was responsible for purchasing operations and relations with suppliers in Turkey, Egypt, Greece, Middle East, Central Asia and Iran.
From 2006 to 2009, Vladislav worked on the position of Regional Director of Purchasing for Southwest Europe in IKEA Spain. Among other things, he was also overseeing IKEA’s  greenfield investment into two factories for furniture production in Portugal.
In 2009, he returned to Serbia, and joined IKEA South East Europe as Regional Property and Expansion Manager. He is currently focused on delivering an ambitious expansion plan in Croatia, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia and Slovenia, having the responsibility for all investments in this region, including land acquisition, design & planning, construction and facility management of IKEA stores.
Vladislav has BA in Economics from American College of Greece. Mr. Lalic is on board of directors Foreign investors council and Serbian Association of Managers. Speaks English, Swedish and Romanian and has basic knowledge of Spanish language. He is married and has two children.
