Martin Jacko is Managing Partner at the international law firm LANSKY, GANZGER + partner (LGP Attorneys), where he heads the Slovak office in Bratislava. He brings to the table an impressive track record in the areas of corporate law, commercial law, contract law, transactional advice, M&A, construction law (including FIDIC), real estate, administrative law, insolvency and restructuring law, compliance, public procurement, state aid / investment aid, as well as international and European law.
 
He focuses on large construction and infrastructure projects (with a focus on the transportation sector), acquisitions of companies and crisis management on national and international level.  As Board Member of the Slovak Compliance Circle (a professional platform co-founded by LGP Slovakia), Martin is very active in the field of compliance.
Since 2010, when he was registered as insolvency and restructuring administrator with the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic, Martin Jacko has led several insolvency and liquidation proceedings in Slovakia. From 2012 onwards (after his admission to the Slovak bar association), Martin has overseen the legal team at LGP Slovakia. In 2015 he became partner at LGP Slovakia.
 
Following the graduation at the Law Faculty of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice Martin Jacko joined LGP as an associate of LGP Bratislava’s office in 2008, which just had been established at that time. As one of the first team members at LGP Slovakia, Martin had the opportunity to contribute to the process of turning the local office of an international law firm into a significant player in the Slovak home market.
 
Martin always strives to think outside the box and provides the client with a legal solution which is not only applicable but also economically reasonable for the client, often a tailor made solution.
